Lynn’s sculpture work centres around the well-being of the human condition and its dependency on the interrelationships between the individual, the family, the community, and the universal environment in which we exist. She draws on her own life experiences to strengthen our understanding of one another and to encourage positive interactions.
Her initial training in traditional sculpture methods has enabled her to explore and develop her own style of self-expression, utilising a variety of materials. Over the past two decades, she has cultivated her passion for sculpture, starting under the guidance of Betsy Kramer, a respected classical sculptor. In 2003, she relocated to London, where she dedicated herself full-time to sculpture. Lyn earned a four-year Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Arts from the Art Academy in Southwark, London.
Lynn’s work has been exhibited internationally, and in 2011, she returned to New Zealand.
