Jacky has been painting watercolours for over 30 years and is an award-winning watercolourist and international tutor.

Esther Bunning has been creating unique photography for over 35 years and is a full time photographic artist. Her work has a unique, dreamy quality that’s instantly recognisable – often with a sense of quiet magic.

Tracey-Lea is a New Zealand artist working from her home studio in the Wairarapa. She’s a detail-focused pattern painter, creating bold artworks full of colour, movement, shadow and shimmer.

Lisa is a Wairarapa artisan who makes domestic pottery and sculptural ceramics. Her work is inspired by NZ mountain ridgelines and rocks

Felicity Donaldson Smith is a multidisciplinary artist and the creative force behind Wundaire. Since relocating from Wellington to Greytown in 2019, she has established a home studio where she creates her distinctive ceramic works and runs sought-after hand-building workshops

I’m a professional freelance photographer. I create images that tell stories, evoke feeling, and preserve moments that might otherwise be lost. My work is built on the foundation I learned all those years ago in the darkroom: patience, precision, and the belief that a single image can say more than words ever could. And every time I click the shutter, I’m chasing that same feeling I had as a teenager—the magic of seeing a photograph come to life.

Sandra is a multi-award-winning contemporary jeweller and visual artist based in Martinborough, New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts from Whitireia New Zealand.

I love to create designs incorporating botanicals and native flora and fauna. My work often includes hints of New Zealand’s cultural influences and landscape.

Josephine trained in Umbria, Italy with a traditional Italian ceramics studio. She specialises in the classical Italian ceramic (majolica) style of the renaissance period with old designs, classic shapes and new variations.
ADRIAN JACKMAN • Figurative/Abstract Painter – 26 Wakelin St, Carterton
Adrian’s paintings are collaged from a broad range of found images, often zooming into isolated spaces or layers of collected objects that are melded with technology. He focuses on discovering new painterly narratives, while hinting at ideas of ‘glitch aesthetics’ and ‘digital disruption’.

Lisa’s semi-abstract paintings are atmospheric by nature, often evoking a sense of calm; they are described as distinctive, reflective and moody.

Mucky Paws Pottery is the creative, playful venture of hobby potter Karen Irwin, situated in a picturesque olive grove not far from the shores of Lake Wairarapa, near Featherston.

Born in rural New Zealand, Sonja has been creating art throughout her life and has exhibited widely across the Wairarapa. Her work is grounded in mixed media, often combining ink, handmade paper, encaustic, fibre, and natural materials such as leaves and found objects.

Anna is a printmaker who enjoys collagraph printmaking as well as other art forms. She reconnected with painting upon discovering the cold wax medium and predominantly works in oil and cold wax, both printmaking and painting.
HUGH GAYWOOD EYRE • Outdoor Sculpture & Mosaics – 1D Mary St, Masterton
I am a self-taught artist, and needlework and soft furnishings run in the family—something that feels deeply ingrained in my DNA. I’ve always felt more at home with a needle and thread than a paintbrush, although I’m not afraid to pick up a brush when the occasion calls for it.

Anna-Marie Kingsley (born 1969, Whitianga) is a self-taught artist who has been painting professionally since 2006. She features in Denis Robinson’s book New Zealand’s Favourite Artists vol 2.

Aratoi’s current exhibitions include Dame Robin White and Taeko Ogawa, Sandra Schmid, Wairarapa Camera Club, Rosalie Jurczenko and two collection shows. Koha appreciated on entry.
WINKS – Greytown
Based in Greytown, WINKS is a self-taught, experimental artist whose evolving practice spans resin, acrylics, photography, recycled materials, and more.

Sean Crawford is a successful New Zealand sculptor. Originally Wellington-based, but now living and working in the rural Wairarapa – his works are found, and sought after – both nationally and overseas.

I’m a passionate, self-taught photographer based in the Wairarapa, with a wide range of interests, including native bird photography, abstract, and street photography.

JUSTINE TURNBULL – 37 Harrison St West, Featherston
Justine is a Wairarapa-based artist and educator with a BFA in ceramics and an MFA in painting. Her practice moves between creating her own work and mentoring others. Justine blends classical and contemporary techniques, using myth to explore existential themes.

Sharon is a Wairarapa-based jewellery artist, creating individually handcrafted pieces in her studio surrounded by the region’s vibrant creative community. She works primarily with metal clay—sculpting, texturing, and shaping it by hand before kiln firing it at high temperatures to fuse the metal particles
SIMON KING – The Elms Studios, 723 Te Ore Ore/Bideford Rd, Masterton
Simon King is a multidisciplinary artist whose studio practice spans both 2D and 3D media. His current two-dimensional work focuses on collage, combining printmaking, painting, and drawing to explore themes of identity, ancestry, community, and connection. In three dimensions, Simon works primarily with wood, creating vessels, joinery, and furniture that reflect his interest in form, texture, and colour.

Jenny primarily uses upcycled and repurposed materials and is currently exploring the intersection of art and nature across various media.

Born in Manchester, England, it’s hardly surprising Jo Constable has a love for all things industrial as well as typography and graphic design. She loves breaking rules, thinking outside the creative box and extending herself creatively. Her first love, however, is printmaking.
